What catches the rain and the eye of those who pass by?  People living in Knox County now know the answer -- an artistic rain barrel.  The Water Quality Forum will be kicking off off its Third Annual Rainy Day Brush-Off event in the spring of 2010.  Local artists have graciously volunteered to create beautiful works of art on 55-gallon rain barrels to help the Water Quality Forum raise awareness about water conservation and water pollution.  To date the Water Quality Forum has engaged regional artists in the creation of 57 unique rain barrels and through the sale of these rain barrels raised thousands of dollars in support of our on the ground outreach, education and conservation efforts.  We are looking forward to 2010 being the most ...more
