Last month on August 19th, the Foothills Land Conservancy held their annual Summer Celebration to share their project successes and highlights from the year. The Foothills Land Conservancy is dedicated to protecting, preserving, and enhancing the lands and environments of the Southern Appalachian region and promoting the character of the land for the benefit of the general public, now and in the future. In support of this mission and the work the FLC does to protect our resources, the Water Quality Forum donated an Ivy Rain Barrel for use as a door prize at their celebration event.
The winner of the Ivy Rain Barrel was Bruce Reign. Congratulations Bruce, we hope you enjoy your new rain barrel.
